For Spring '23, we approached our signatures

with a new, abstract perspective.

Our signature handcrafts have a new graphic edge,

with sampler-style quilting, rick-rack trims, and unexpected cut-outs. 

Lean, A-line dresses feature abstract quilting motifs,

a fresh take on two of our signatures: pretty frocks and patchwork.

Our focus on the body continues in narrower silhouettes, micro-minis,

and midi dresses with curving edges, revealing tiny crescents of bare skin.

The season’s hero dress represents an evolution of our crochet group:

an entirely crocheted slip, with swirls of yarn radiating from a ring at the sternum.

At once exuberant and spare, it has the makings of a future heirloom.

Voluminous dresses are a Sea calling card, but lately

we’ve found ourselves gravitating towards menswear pieces like camp shirts,

wide-leg trousers, and acid-wash jeans. Appliqués and embroidery

lend even the simplest ones a dose of charm.
